Psychological assessments to assist with identification of unique learning styles, and cognitive strengths and weaknesses.

Lori Gallup, Psy.D.

I have over 20 years of experience completing complex psychological assessments in schools, private practice, hospitals, and forensic settings. I received my doctorate in Clinical Psychology with a concentration in Neuropsychology. I completed an internship at Ancora State Hospital in New Jersey, where I treated adults with chronic mental health needs and completed neuropsychological evaluations for forensic as well as neurological/rehabilitative purposes. I also completed neuropsychological externships at Children’s National Medical Center in Washington, D.C. and at Mount Washington Pediatric Hospital (Baltimore, MD), focusing on neurodevelopmental disorders, including learning disabilities, ADHD, and autism spectrum disorders. I am also a highly experienced School Psychologist; I have dual Master’s degrees in Reading and Special Education, as well as a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies in School Psychology. As a School Psychologist, I have worked in both urban and rural school settings, worked with juveniles and young adults and their families and supervised other school psychologists in forensic settings. I have special expertise in identifying unique learning strategies and strengths and weaknesses in a variety of settings.
